I wrote a longish paragraph, clicked on SAVE and the damn thing disappeared. Don't have the energy to recreate it. Manana. Maybe.
So this is a checkup.

these journals are a test of any writer's patience. i have done what you have just described so many times, losing miles of text and graphics, too. so i got in the habit of saving a paragraph at a time and then editing ten times to add ten more paragraphs. that wasn't worth it, either. it's good practice for developing a philosophical attitude, i suppose.
