"Wow, I wish I knew what was going on here, everyone in America is talking about this guy!
- Gaz"
Talk radio became popular with people on long drives
into work. My prosperous dentist Henry Dwork lived
in New Jersey across the Hudson River, and drove to
a garage near his office. He might have listened to Imus
or Howard Stern on early morning drives. Knowing good ol'
Hank I would believe he enjoyed Howard Stern's raunchy good
fun to relieve the boredom.
Race still stirs things up in America. I'll tell you something I bet you
haven't heard already from an American. A good part of the
firing of Imus is that Imus was capitalizing on White America's
chagrin that Black athletes have dominated American sports.
The University young African American women winning basketball upsets White's notions of superiority. Tell me please that an
American Black woman tennis player was NEVER heckled at Wimbledon!!!! American comic and swell guy Chris Rock - the handsome young man with all the teeth - get's huge thunderous applause during his
live concerts when he opines that Black Athletes will soon dominate
ice hockey once they get used to the cold. Lebron James (??)
or some such won't need a stick, he'll just use his long ding dong
with which to hit the puck. (I haven't said anything wrong have I?@!?)
I pray this clarifies everything.

I might be saying some thing that some Americans might not understand but, are black athletes not the majority simply becasue they are better athletes than their white counterparts?........... It's something that most Brits would get straight away. It's not politically correct, but fact. Whats wrong with a black kid having a role model that's an athlete anyway?
I know about talk radio, it's in abundance here, trust, me, we Brits can talk and talk and talk........... Best talk radio station in the world, Radio 4 from the BBC!
I am still unsure from your entry what exactly went on, but I think this guy insulted a black basket ball team right?. Does he not just get sacked and then marched onto every TV show to wince and squirm on stage? That's the way it's done in America right, instead of trying to find the route cause of why people think like that in the first place?
Sorry if I am waffling on, but we have racism yes, but not that kind, but then in my eyes, there's no good or bad racism, it's ALL BAD......... A good person never sees the colour of a persons skin when they are talking to them.
Is anyone with me on this or is it cos I am a Brit?
